The Calgary Zoo is a mega zoo located in Calgary, Alberta that is over 3,229,173 sq. feet. This zoo features over 950 animals with over 200 different species. The Calgary Zoo opened in 1929 and one of five zoos in Canada that is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
