Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) may be right for you!
... Let our Registered Nurse Injector help you decide for free.

PRP is the fastest growing treatment in Calgary!
You've probably heard of Platelet Rich Plasma treatments being referred to as the Vampire facial. This is because the magic ingredient is serum that is medically extracted from your own blood.
But don't let pictures on the Internet of faces covered in blood fool you. That's not how this works at all. In fact, those pictures were originally part of a marketing gimmick propagated by the Kardashians.
Lets talk about what PRP really is!
What can PRP injections do for you?
Serum extracted from your own blood is the magic ingredient for PRP. This autologous serum (made from your own body) is called Platelet Rich Plasma and it contains high concentrations of platelets and growth factors.
The clinical application of PRP is based on injecting the high concentration of growth factors from the concentrated platelets and the secretion of specific proteins, which are able to ramp up the healing process within your skin at a cellular level.
This leads to restoration of your natural beauty by stimulating and enhancing the natural rejuvenation process of your skin, resulting in a significant improvement in overall skin condition and youthfulness.
Is PRP safe?
PRP is completely safe as the product is completely obtained from your own blood by spinning it at high speeds in a centrifuge.
Platelet Rich Plasma is extracted from your own blood using a centrifuge.
PRP or "liquid gold" is extremely high in growth factors for beautiful skin.
How does a PRP treatment work?

Your PRP treatment will begin with a free consultation where you can speak with our Registered Nurse injector to discuss your medical history to ensure that PRP treatments are right for you.
Once you are medically cleared for treatment we start by taking a vial of your blood. The vial is spun in the centrifuge for several minutes to extract the Platelet Rich Plasma.
During this time topical numbing cream will be applied to your face or treatment area. This makes for a much more comfortable experience.
The PRP is applied to your skin either through individual injections or using a micro needling device. The option that is best for you will be discussed in your consultation.
You can get even more out of your PRP session by combining Hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers or Botox to your PRP treatment in the form of Mesotherapy. Make sure and ask our Nurse injector about these exciting options!
